Our History
Group Five Pipe Saudi (G5PS) is a limited liability company with 100% Saudi Nationality, Mr. Tariq Abdel Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani and Mr. Salah Abdel Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani owing the company.
In 2001 Group Five Pipe Saudi (G5PS) was established as a Joint between South-African companies Group Five Construction, Marine Civil and Al-Qahtani Group of Companies. Mr. Tariq Abdel Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani and Mr. Salah Abdel Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani, owners of the Al-Qahtani Group of Companies, one of the top 100 companies in Saudi Arabia, includes Al-Qahtani Pipe Coating Terminal which is amongst the largest and most modern in the world.
Group Five Construction is solely owned by Group Five Limited, a public company registered in South Africa and quoted on the South African Stock Exchange in the building and construction sector, is one of the largest construction firms in Southern Africa.
Marine Civil, a South African limited Liability company formed in 1979, has over 30 years of experience in harbor and general construction and design.
In 1991 Group Five Pipe (GFP) was established as a joint Venture between Group Five and Marine Civil to service the growing need for steel pipe in Southern Africa.
The G5PS factory is located at the Second Industrial City of Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
G5PS will be producing and supplying 508mm-3000mm OD (20’’- 118’’), submerged-arc welded, spiral seam, carbon steel pipes from hot rolled coils.
Pipes manufactured at this facility can be tested to international specifications such as API Spec 5L, API 1104, API RP 5L3, ASME Section IX, ASME Section V, ISO 10893, ASTM A370 and national Specifications such as Saudi ARAMCO’s Requirements (SAMSS) and SWCC Specification for Steel Pipes (M01).
Pipes manufactured by G5PS can be utilized in the transfer of water, oil and gas products and for piling applications.
